We cannot revert to killing our heart. Instead, we must accept the first lesson in the journey of desire: ecstasy is not an option. We must have life. The only problem is in our refusal to wait. That is why God must rescue us from the very things we thought would save us.
John Eldredge, Journey of Desire
It amazes me how we put our trust so easily in man, but when it comes to giving up our life to God it is such a struggle for us? God promises that he will never forsake us, or leave us alone. He says that he will love us no matter what we have done. He will always take us back. He will always stand up for us. But what does man have to offer? A hug? A kiss? A Broken heart? The truth is we have nothing to offer, because everything that we have comes from God. So why is this world so afraid of putting their lives in his hands?
What an AMAZING God he is!

Amen Trisha,
That is so true. Its like what Paul said, "Why do I do things I don't want to do, and not do what I want to?" Our flesh always has a way of drawing us back, tempting us with worldly things, but we have to remember that Jesus is the one that matters. He is our sole purpose.
Trisha, I am so proud of you! It is awesome to read your heart. Sharing your heart about the things of God on this blog is such a sweet testimony of your life and in turn it will just make your walk with Him deeper and deeper. As you claim the truth of God to others your life will flourish! Love you Trisha~!
