Lord be my hope
Lord be my light
Lord give me strength when I have no will to fight
Lord hear my prayer
Lord hear my cry
Lord hear my voice in the dark and lonely night
Lord you see my faults
Lord you see my scares
Lord you see my mistakes, yet you still call me child

My prayer
Lord when will this blindfold be removed from my eyes, so that I may see the world as you see it. Give me a heart for the lost and strength to help the broken.

Peace with God brings the peace of God. It is a peace that settles our nerves, fills our mind, floods our spirit, and in the midst of the uproar around us, gives us the assurance that everything is all right.
-Bob Mumford
It's already been a year of change for me. I have a sister in-law and a niece! My brother got married on January 14th! I was a wonderful day. I will post some pictures when I have them. My heart has been so uneasy lately yet at the same time I have been full of excitment and joy. With classes starting up again and having to get back into the homework scene and also things I am just dealing with personally I really haven't been at peace. Yet in the past few weeks I have been feeling a great love for the people around me. I am so greatful for the friends that I have and blessed to have people that care about me. It is amazing how God gives us exactly what we need and when we need it. He is exactly what I need!

Hopeless Romantic
It's official, I am a hopeless romantic. Today was the last day of finals. I have finished my first semester of college! So pretty much everyone on campus has gone home for Christmas break already. But because I have to work tomorrow I stayed another night. Well it is super quiet and no one is around. So decided that I would read a few chapters from this Christian romance novel I have been reading....Bad idea. I ended up finishing the book and balling my eyes out. I actually had to remind myself that it didn't really happen! I am such a geek. But when you have no romance in real life the next best thing is a Christian romance novel. Can I get an amen!?
But anyways I had a great night by myself. Just praying and singing worship songs as I packed up my things for the long break. God always knows when I need a little alone time, which is exactly what I needed tonight. It was refreshing to have some time by myself, with no interruptions. Thank you Jesus! You are so great!

He is the Only Thing Worth Trusting
We cannot revert to killing our heart. Instead, we must accept the first lesson in the journey of desire: ecstasy is not an option. We must have life. The only problem is in our refusal to wait. That is why God must rescue us from the very things we thought would save us.
John Eldredge, Journey of Desire
It amazes me how we put our trust so easily in man, but when it comes to giving up our life to God it is such a struggle for us? God promises that he will never forsake us, or leave us alone. He says that he will love us no matter what we have done. He will always take us back. He will always stand up for us. But what does man have to offer? A hug? A kiss? A Broken heart? The truth is we have nothing to offer, because everything that we have comes from God. So why is this world so afraid of putting their lives in his hands?
What an AMAZING God he is!

Just the beginning
I thought it would be fun to create my own little blog site....Since my life is so interesting. But then I realized I don't have any pictures and I don't have much so say. The truth is I have lots to say but just not at the moment. So I will update this thing soon when I have pictures and a brilliant thought. kluvyabye!
